Owning a racing greyhound is a very exciting hobby but the cost of buying your own greyhound and then funding the kennel bills, veterinary costs and homing fees can become very expensive. However, being involved in a syndicate is not just about sharing costs…it is also about sharing the joy of winning. That's why The Champagne Club was formed over 22 years ago and it has now grown to become one of the most successful syndicates in this great sport winning events like the St Leger with BUBBLY TOTTI live on Sky TV.

The greyhounds below still have shares available for purchase. There is a maximum of 100 shares issued in each BUBBLY greyhound. Many of the shares have already been purchased by existing members of The Champagne Club and the remainder are now offered to new members. All money raised from the sale of shares is used for the purchase, training and ultimately the homing of each greyhound.

‘Potential TV Trophy winner for 2012’

The Champagne Club Greyhound Racing Syndicate invites you to buy a share in a well bred bitch that has already shown that she can take on the best in the country over 6 bends and will be a marathon star during 2012.

The Club has bought 50% of Wonder Wag for £10,000 with her current owner, Club member Lee Gifkins,  retaining the other 50%. She has been renamed BUBBLY CAPEL (Capel is Lee’s prefix) and Lee and his Dad, Tony, will train her. She is being prepared for The Prestige at Hove and she will then step up in distance for the TV Trophy. She will also run in many of the major 2012 Sky races.

There are a maximum of 100 shares in 'BUBBLY CAPEL' at an all inclusive cost of just £130 each including all training, vets and homing fees. As a shareholder you will be kept fully informed of her progress and subsequent racing programme by text plus you will receive an ownership share certificate. In addition you will receive 1% of her prize money when she retires.

The Champagne Club Greyhound Racing Syndicate invites you to buy a share in a young bitch that is going to take the staying scene by storm in 2012. WESTMEAD SWALLOW has already won puppy opens over 4 bends but her style of running tells us that she is a future staying star!

The Club has bought 50% of her for £10,000 with her current owner retaining the other 50%. She will be renamed BUBBLY SWALLOW and her trainer will be the legendary Nick Savva. I have no doubt that she will win many races over the next two years but more importantly she will give us the opportunity to follow her progress all over the country and on Sky TV.

There are a maximum of 100 shares in 'BUBBLY SWALLOW' at an all inclusive cost of just £140 each including all training fees. As a shareholder you will be kept fully informed of her progress and subsequent racing programme by text plus you will receive an ownership share certificate. In addition you will receive 1% of her prize money when she retires.

BUBBLY GIOVANNI is a May 2011 black and white dog pup by Rayvin Giovanni out of Pippas Fantasy. He is the first pup EVER born out of the track superstar Rayvin Giovanni who career was so sadly ended by injury. One of our members was able to get the first ever mating with his bitch, Pippas Fantasy, and he kindly donated the first pup born to our Club.

There are a maximum of 100 shares in 'BUBBLY GIOVANNI' at an all inclusive cost of just £100 each. As a shareholder you will be kept fully informed of his progress and subsequent racing programme by text plus you will receive an ownership share certificate. In addition you will receive 1% of his prize money when he retires. This could be substantial if he becomes an open racer.

The £10,000 raised by selling the 100 shares at £100 each will be used to pay for the whelping of the litter (£1,000), the 15 months rearing costs (£1,500), an assumed 30 months training fees (£7,200) plus administration charges (£300).

Many of his shares have been purchased by existing Club members and just a few are available to new members.

When you buy a share in a BUBBLY greyhound you will receive a share certificate with a photograph and you are added to a database that sends you a text every time your greyhound is racing with details of the track, time, trap and most importantly what the trainer thinks of its chances of winning. You can also walk your dog at the kennels any Sunday morning. On regular occasions we have hospitality nights at various tracks where you can meet fellow members. You will receive an equal share of the prize money won after expenses have been deducted.
